Caroline Murphy believes the future of design depends on how well the industry supports the people just starting out. As futureGen Engagement Lead at SANDOW DESIGN GROUP, she builds community, programming, and recognition for Gen Z and early-career designers across brands including Interior Design, Metropolis, and LUXE Interiors + Design. It’s work she’s been doing since before it was her job title. A trained interior designer and University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate, she founded the Young Designers Collective in Nashville to give emerging designers a place to learn, connect, and feel supported. Today she’s a speaker, connector, and self-described design big sister who’s spent her career making sure the next generation has a seat at the table.
